The title literally means \u201cSleep, little one.\u201d In the song, the mother speaks gently to her child, sometimes adding playful or slightly teasing lines like \u201cthe crab will eat you if you don\u2019t go to sleep.\u201d These words aren\u2019t meant to scare but to soothe and amuse the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">The song expresses deep maternal love and reflects the warmth and closeness of family life in Haiti. Therefore, the song holds no special meaning for me. I think that is a great pity.
