Programme October 25, 2025

On Saturday evening, October 25, between 7:15 and 8:00 PM, the carillonists of the university demonstrated how music can connect people from every corner of the globe. In darkness, by candlelight alone, the audience could experience how the sounds of the carillon blended with the night. A unique opportunity to reflect on the beauty of the night and the power of music as a universal language.

The concert took place during the “Nacht van de Nacht” (Night of the Night), a national campaign that raises awareness about light pollution and sustainability.

Five songs were introduced by the residents who suggested them. The event was announced in Huis-aan-Huis Enschede: “Concert ‘Carillon zonder grenzen’: muziek verbindt bij kaarslicht”.
